The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District welcomes you to Canyon Lake, located in South Central Texas.

Our Core Missions:

Provide flood damage reduction to the Guadalupe River Basin below Canyon Lake, supply water to local municipalities and offer some of the best water recreation in Texas.

EAGLES AT CANYON LAKE!!!

Fans were excited to see the Eagles visiting Canyon Lake.

NO not the sports team!

Bald Eagles were spotted this year around the lake.

Keep your eyes open for special guest appearences all year by many diverse animal species.

New Hours for NORTH PARK

Due to circumstances beyound our control, the park operating days/hours this season had to be trimmed back.

The new hours are as follows.

All campsites are first come first serve for this park.

Park Reservations

You can make reservations at Potters Creek or Cranes Mill Parks through Recreation.gov

If you are planning to visit this year, we advise making reservations months in advance.

Sites are filling up early this year, so don't wait.

Holidays are filling up very quickly this year.

The Department of Homeland Security recently replaced the color-coded Homeland Security Advisory System with a new system to advise the public on current security issues in the country. The new process is call the National Terrorism Advisory system, or NTAS. To read more about the system please use the link below.
