The ETOILE PARK BOAT RAMPS will be temporarily closed in order to treat Giant Salvinia.
Boaters are encouraged to use boat ramps at Shirley Creek, Ewing and Marion Ferry while Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Corps contractors treat the Giant Salvinia that is collecting against the boom at the 103 Bridge.
In order to prevent further transportation of the Giant Salvinia the Corps asks boaters to ensure they clean their boats, trailers, recreational and fishing equipment thoroughly as soon as they leave an infected area.
