  • Rocky Creek Park and Yegua Creek Park received American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds to construct park improvements. In an effort to reduce the impact upon visitors and to avoid canceling visitor reservations, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers implemented the following guidelines until construction begins in those parks.

Rocky Creek Park -- is available on a first-come, first-serve basis only. Once construction begins, the entire park will be closed.

Yegua Creek Park -- will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis only, beginning December 7, 2009. Existing reservations after December 7, 2009 will be honored, provided construction has not begun. Once construction begins, the entire park will be closed.

  • The Off-Road Vehicle Area in Yegua Creek Park has been closed due to serious public safety concerns and severe environmental degradation. The closure report can be viewed at the following link. (Closure Report) (4.95MB - Large File, Download could take several minutes)
